The Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra, conducted by Adam Glaser, performs this Impressionist work of vibrant energy. “D’un matin de printemps” was Boulanger’s final orchestra work, written before her untimely death at age 24. This short piece packs in several musical twists and turns while exhibiting a masterly touch for storytelling.
