Caroline Shaw’s "Unstudy No. 1" was commissioned by Juilliard and premiered on March 24, 2025 at Carnegie Hall as part of the Juilliard at Zankel Hall performance series. This solo piano work was composed by Shaw for Juilliard student Tony Siqi Yun.
Caroline Shaw has been an Arnhold Creative Associate at Juilliard since 2018.
