Through a number of experimental sounds and instruments, including prayer stones, Japanese temple bells, a musical saw, a toy piano, whispers, and yelling, Juilliard’s contemporary music ensemble AXIOM, conducted by Jeffrey Milarsky, brings to life this virtuosic composition, subtitled “A Cycle of Songs on Texts by Federico Garcia-Lorca.”
